HISTORY:
I am the last in the line of Humanoid Anti-Shadow weapons produced by the Kirijo Group. To my knowledge, no other units are now functioning, making me the last of my kind. My primary directives are to both blend with society and to eliminate any targets I am able to locate. I am programmed to expand my personality as I interact with others.
SPEECH:
“And where are you going, Aigis?” Came the question. After almost ten years of being inactive, the old anti-Shadow mechanoid had finally reactivated itself. It had female programming and referred to itself as ‘she’, and her name was Aigis. She had the semblance of a personality, but no more than was strictly necessary to call forth a Persona. Glowing blue eyes turned in the direction of the voice, adjusting to the sudden change of lighting from a dark laboratory to a fairly bright lobby. She had procured an outfit from somewhere, and looking at her, one could almost not tell she was a robot, save her stance was slightly rigid and her eyes were nearly emotionless.
“My records indicate an exponential rise of Shadow activity in the area of the Kirijo laboratory site,” Aigis responded, pointedly dodging the question, though the answer was obvious. Her programmed goals were very straightforward, unless she had updated her parameters during her inactivity.
“Yes,” Replied the dark haired man in the corner. Aigis remembered him, but she had never gotten more than a passing glance of him. She could not have named who he was based on her current data. “But you didn’t answer my question. You know you’re not allowed to leave the lab.”
“The laboratory technicians that worked here formerly have been transferred to other locations. With no supervision, I am still programmed to find and eliminate threats to other humans,” Aigis said. The man laughed at her comeback, prompting a lowering of her eyebrows. Her personality had been given enough time to understand when she was being laughed at insultingly.
“A robot with a discipline problem… Who would have guessed?” He said, a grin on his face. Aigis then deemed him unimportant, and moved forward. “Hm. You’ve only been active for a few months all together, and you’ve already developed a stubborn streak…”
“My personality is none of your concern. I am leaving; you are free to do what you wish. I must resume my active duties,” Aigis replied, her usual monotone having the slightest edge to it as she strode off. And Chairman Ikutski watched on quietly, considering what to make of this new development…
