Koromaru used to be owned by a monk, but he died six months ago. Now he is a stray dog. However, he acts as if he isn't a stray dog, taking himself on walks, as his owner used to do when he was still alive, as well as stay at the shrine, waiting devotedly for his master's return.
SPEECH:
"Bark!" The shiba-inu was excited; Minato was getting closer to the theater. They were going to see the final episodes of "The True Battles of Real Men." Koro-chan, as he is affectionately called, didn't once wonder why people would allow a dog into the movie theater for he was too excited to see his favorite show. The tickets were bought, making him bark once more.
After the show, there were people outside, selling a boxed set of the movie they had just seen. "Bark!" He could tell Minato was not pleased by the dog wanting to spend his money. He was a dog; no matter how intelligent he was, he would never sustain a job. S.E.E.S was the only exception, of course. When Minato didn't seem the budge, the shiba-inu barked again and started to run around him.
It was enough for him to realize that Koromaru really wanted the boxed set. It was enough to send him over to the guy sellign the boxed set and purchase it. this caused Koromaru to wag his tail, and continue to wag his tail until they got back to the dorm room. This would be an exciting night before the Dark Hour, it seemed for Koromaru.
