Aigis was back at this place again. Why? To maintain her cover and to find ways to improve her act at pretending to be a normal human. Her lack of a personality would end up drawing more attention to herself within 82.34 percent probability. That would definitely hinder both the very slow scrounging of repair parts to get her systems back to full capacity and her investigation of Tartarus. Except school was absurdly easy for a robot, even with the levels of corruption her databanks had now. In the past few days as the 'transfer student' had proven to retain information in class far better than anyone else despite the fact that all she usually did was stare at the blackboard behind the teacher. What she was really doing was a tad more complex, a combination of recording the data and running algorithms to attempt to clear some of her databanks.
Some of the male students had attempted to make contact, but she made a point of denying much interaction, using an old backup personality to feign crippling shyness, which had worked so far. Unfortunately it seemed only to be drawing more attention from the male populace of the school, which was unfortunate. It was after school now, and the mechanical woman was sitting quietly on the front steps, scanning the people who went by in an attempt to see if her... other... scanner was working properly. So far, either no one at this school had the ability to enter the Dark Hour, she had missed them, or that subsystem had been completely fried. She was.... annoyed, if she could claim such an emotion. The tiniest hint of it, but not strong enough for her to recognize it as such. Merely a nagging feeling somewhere in all the glitched data and defunct subroutines.
She ran a gloved hand through her fake blond hair. Recently she had found herself wondering if she would be able to feel it without the gloves on, or if there was any kind of merit to 'hanging out' with one of the humans at this school. Aigis did not know where the thoughts were coming from, but the more logical part of her processors told her that such things would be detrimental to her mission, and that whatever code it was generating the thoughts would be better off removed. She tugged at the neck of the sweater she was wearing under her uniform. Then, with little warning, she stood up and turned to enter the building again, out of curiosity. She instead found herself bumping in to someone she didn't recognize. "I apologize. I should have been paying more attention to where I was going," Aigis said politely, giving a stiff bow. She hoped in that part of her processor that she hadn't sounded too mechanical.

Arisato Minako had just finished the school day and felt nothing but a rather happy feeling that now she could escape. All day she had sat there, trying to pay attention to the teachers as they tried to educate her. But it was all for nothing as he attempts led to her dozing off. Normally she was great with school but not today, she was tired. She was tired and just wanted out.
The final bell had finally sounded to her relief and she shoved all of her books and things into her bag and swung it over her shoulder and began on her way, heading back to her dorms where maybe she could talk with somebody for a little bit and then make her way off to bed. Though she figured she may just go straight her room and read for a little bit. then again maybe she could pop on by the mall and sneak a drink at the cafe before heading off to the dorm.
As her mind was buzzing with plans and ideas she suddenly felt her body collide with that of somebody a lot more firmly planted than herself. She stumbled back but kept her balance. She looked up to see Aigis standing before her and the apology from the other girl brought a smile to her face. She bowed her head back, suddenly full of energy.
"It's fine, Aigis. I wasn't really paying attention... Hey, are you busy?" she asked suddenly. She figured that to formally apologize she could come with her or something to get something at the cafe... Then again, she wasn't even sure if the girl before her even liked anything of the sort. She didn't even know the other girl was a robot yet, so maybe that knowledge would have come in handy. But alas, it did not.

The question of how the other Arisato knew her briefly flashed through the robot's mind. The answer came just as quickly; they shared a class and lived in the same dorm, absent though the automaton usually was from it in the evenings. She briefly considered Minako's request. It was ever so slightly odd that Aigis had been wondering if she should or not just moments before. There was the slightest indicator from the back of her processor. The scanner was working. It seemed that she would run in to Minako in a place a lot worse than school at some point. Perhaps getting to know her wouldn't be too bad; she couldn't do much until midnight anyways...
"I am not sure if I am the best company..." Aigis replied, adopting a quiet and shy tone of voice. Perhaps if they did meet back up in the dorm she could better inform the redhead... but the idea of having a... friend?... didn't seem so bad. Aigis offered a weak smile, still not entirely sure, but she nodded her head. "But... No, I am not occupied. Did you want to do something together?" she asked, 'feeling' awkward if such could be said. This was the first time she had ever done anything casually with anyone else. Who knew how it would turn out?

At the mention of Aigis not being good company she tilted her head but the shy expression on the girl's face made her even more curious. She knew nothing about this girl, she was just a class and dorm-mate. She had noticed the way she shied away from the boys who seemed to keep trying to talk to her. But this all just made Minako wonder what Aigis was like past the shyness. She smiled as she looked out and around at the other people.
"I was thinking.... Maybe we could go to that cafe in the mall. Maybe sit down and talk. Been awhile since I actually hung out with somebody, new student and all" she smiled at Aigis. She was a bit nervous about going to this new school but now that she was here all she wanted to do was make friends and go on with a normal life and such. That was a normal thing to want, yes? She was a teenage girl with a rather energetic personality and she really just didn't want to go it alone right now. She was hoping that this led to a friend. It seemed to her that maybe Aigis could use this as well.

Aigis found herself biting her lip. Gone as quickly as it had come. Could she really 'hang out' with someone? Would that ruin her cover? ... No. Maybe it could help her improve her disguise. Maybe it could even be fun. Wherever that thought had come from, it made the automaton smile and tilt her head to the side slightly. She quickly straightened back up, however, to keep from exposing her non-human neck.
"I think... that would be fun," Aigis said, still smiling despite herself. She felt like... she wanted to talk about things. To be... 'normal', if such could be said of a robot with very small emotions. It occurred to her that the redhead might not have been aware that her brother, Minato, was staying in the same dorm. He was remarkably quiet, to the point that Aigis hadn't noticed his presence at first, not until he had returned from an outing and passed by in the lobby. He had just given a nod and gone upstairs to his room and, to her knowledge, didn't say a word or leave while she had been there. "Did you know that your brother is staying in our dorm as well? He seems nice."

"Oh, yeah... Kindof quiet" Minako said as she put her finger on the headphone that was resting on her collar. She smiled at Aigis, glad she had accepted her offer and she nodded.
"Anything you need to get or drop off or you just want to go now?"she asked with a bubbly smile. She rather enjoyed people and was glad that she wasn't going alone. She had been new here and had actually been too nervous to really address anybody because of the whole new... Well... Sortof new, atmosphere that was Port Island. Her finger twisted in the wire between her headphones and the mp3 player and she looked at the gate, seeing some guy standing there and some girl behind a tree... That was odd.
Shaking her head she ignored the stalker girl and looked back at Aigis, all of this happening fast enough to barely be noticed by the normal human. As it was more of a glance, then a slight double take. Thus she was still devoting her attention to the girl before her. Her possible future friend. That sounded pretty nice and she hoped it would end up like that. Aigis seemed nice enough. She didn't seem like a deadly efficient shadow hunting weapon.

Aigis was still apprehensive about the whole thing; hanging out, as they said, with someone else. She didn't know what it was she had to do or say to do so. Was there a specific thing to do? Some way of speaking? A topic? She would find out, at least; backing out after accepting the offer would probably not go over well at all. Aigis shook her head no when asked if she needed to do anything before they went... Wherever they were going.
"No, I do not have anything to do," she replied, offering a small smile despite her processor threatening to overload itself to change her mind. The earmuff like devices on her ears spun softly to get rid of the heat of her processors working so hard, hopefully not making much noise. If it did, Aigis silently hoped that the sound would be attributed to the 'headphones' playing music. "Where are we going?" she asked

"Well, isn't there a cafe in the mall? I was thinking about checking it out, you can just come with. I will even buy you something if you want" Minako smiled as she accepted her offer, having heard an odd noise before Aigis had asked where they were going. but she didn't attribute to anything but perhaps music in passing. She looked back off at the gates then back at Aigis. She took a step forward, testing is she would follow then completed a few more paces, looking at the robot.
This girl was odd but it interested her all the more. Her tone was different and she had an odd style. Well, atleast from what was added to the uniform. Like the headband... Or was it headphones? She wasn't sure but it looked a little cool on the blonde. Just had never been something she had seen before. But she didn't say anything about it, really. She didn't want to offend her because Aigis seemed uncomfortable as it was and she was now quite intent of befriending this girl. She wanted to know Aigis' personality past what she already gathered.

Aigis was, to put it lightly, still not entirely convinced that accompanying this person was a good idea. What if she asked her why she wasn't accepting whatever liquid or solid substance it was she was traditionally supposed to ingest at such a place. But at the same time she did want to go. It was like her programming was fighting itself with a paradox, but without the explosive consequence of that occurring. Aigis just gave what she approximated was a nervous chuckle in addition to a nod, realizing immediately after that this might have obligated her to obtain something she was incapable of ingesting. She would find some excuse, she was hopeful. If she could call it hopeful. Aigis was momentarily worried that her heat vents were emitting smoke, but looking up told her this wasn't the case.
The robotic semi-human followed behind her acquaintance, her processors cooling off and allowing her heat vents to shut off for a bit. It would be better not to draw attention to the fact that her ears were spitting out heated air; that would definitely arouse suspicions. "Have you lived in Iwatodai long?" Aigis asked, her algorithms indicating that such a question would be appropriate filer conversation en route to the mall, which by her projections would take roughly twenty minutes to reach without taking the monorail. But Aigis wasn't trusting her projections right now; she had 'projected' another four hours at school but been inaccurate, and recently her targeting computer's projections had been off-key as well. But that was a bit further back in her mind.

Finally the bell had rang. Hero was a studious fellow, but even he got bored easily if he didn't get any rest. And unpacking all night wasn't the best synonym of "rest". His neck was a bit tired from looking up and down, when placing his things in his closet, and back hurt a bit, an still he had had P.E. that morning. He was as sore as thumb. But still he felt like he could a million things. Going down the stairs and going to his locker, he switched some thing's he would definitely need for doing homework and other things. "Argh, the year has barely started and they already send us homework..." he whispered. Before closing the locker, he grabbed his own shoes and switched with the ones he was already wearing. Heading for the entrance, he ran so that he could get away from school as fast as possible. It's not that he hated it, but today, it wasn't the best place for him to be. He grabbed his extremely strange headphones and put them on, music flowing to his ears in a snap. He was already used to the volume of the music in his player, which made it seem low, but in actuality, the music was loud enough for anyone to guess the lyrics correctly. Thinking back, he knew he should join some sort of club, at least so that he could find something to do after school, but he was always lazy at the start of a new year. And especially a year without his best friends, Yuzu and Atsuro. They did have some crazy adventures back in Tokyo, but he was here now, and he had to turn over a new leaf. On the way to wherever he would go, he found two familiar girls a bit ahead of him.
Aren't those... what were their names... I think it was Arisato-chan and Aigis-chan? he tried remembering. But his mind was better on the spot than trying to remember. So he got closer to them. "Good afternoon! How are you girls doing?" he asked with a smile. Being the new guy wasn't the best thing that could happen to his social standing, but being next to two new people who shared some of his feelings was better than being alone. He pulled one of the headphones back so he could hear, both the music and what they had to say. I his mind didn't trick him, Arisato-chan had a brother. Minato-san, who was a quite quiet person, in contrast to his sister, who was cheerful and liked to talk. Looking at him was a bit weird, since Hero resembled him a bit. Both had blue hair and used headphones, even though they had different hairstyles and different type of headphones. This would prove to be amusing if they became friends.

"Well I lived here a long time ago but I left after my parents... Well, it's just important that I am back now. Haven't been here for long though. Doesn't seem to have changed all that much though, maybe that is just me. Maybe I should talk about that with Minato-kun" Minako giggled slightly and smiled at her. She then heard somebody say something.
She stopped as she noticed Hero and couldn't help but smile even more. She looked back at Aigis for a moment to see how she was reacting to all of this. She looked back at the newcomer in front of her. She nodded slightly as an acknowledgement that she was thinking. After she took a moment to remember the name of this person... Or... Atleast she thought it was his name, she spoke finally.
"Oh hey, Matsu-san, right?" she asked as as adjusted herself slightly. She only expected to try and meet one person and she did that. Maybe meeting another would be fun. She had noticed the hair and headphone somewhat resemblance to her brother Minato-kun but didn't think much of it. She rather liked the hair color anyways. And she obviously enjoyed her music and headphones as she shared that with her brother.
"I'm doing good, how are you doing?" she smiled pleasantly at him as she looked back at Aigis. She had noticed Aigis still seemed a bit shy so... Would she want another tagging along? She tilted her head at her slightly as she thought. She didn't think she would react all too badly if at all. She thought she might have noticed a somewhat curious nature of Aigis. So maybe she would like an addition if it came to that.

Aigis blinked in response to Minako suddenly shifting gears in the middle of her sentence. To her knowledge, that meant the redhead was hiding something. Just what that something was, Aigis' processors were not given the time to compute the possibilities, as someone else had walked up and addressed them. She recognized him from her class, but his name hadn't been recorded in her data registry. The automaton refrained from speaking, letting Minako and the boy-- whom Minako apparently remembered the name of-- converse. There was silence for a bit, in which she noticed Minako looking almost expectantly at her. She was supposed to say something... she thought.
Aigis gave a stiff, polite bow, being careful not to bend far enough that her white armored legs were shown. When Minako's expectant look didn't begin to fade, she spoke. "Good afternoon," she said, adding the proper inflection and minor stuttering to provide the illusion of being shy and reclusive. Someone becoming close held the threat of someone discovering she was not, in fact, a human but a very human robot. That could have potentially catastrophic side effects for her, considering the data she held on various world governments. "It's nice to meet you."

Hero was very glad that Minako-chan knew his name. At least that. Hero... it wasn't that he disliked people who couldn't remember his name, sometimes it was his fault for not introducing with a splendorous flare, but even so, he was a iffy with those kinds of people. He nodded at the girl with a bright smile, confirming she had gotten his name right. Aigis bowed to him, to which he replied with an equal bow. "Nice to meet you too, Aigis-san. Sorry to treat you by your first name, but I'm not aware of your last name." he apologized. It was weird not knowing a last name of a girl. Hero usually got them stuck in his head, since he almost always wasn't allowed to use their first ones. Ever since the "Yoohoo" fiasco with Atsuro, no one ever allowed those two to even memorize the first name of girls they met, in fear of them modifying the names to something extremely horrible. They didn't do it to hurt them, it was more to show them a fun side of their own "personas". Funny... that was the first time Hero ever thought of the personalities inside of a person. He shrugged it off after hearing Minako-chan talking to him again. "I'm fine, thanks. After a school day like that, the last thing I want to do is stick my head inside of the books..." he answered, making a truly tired face. But, immediately afterwards, he got pumped up with energy again. He couldn't like the weakest link in the middle of two beautiful girls. That was a good way to draw in cute and shy girls from afar, but Hero liked the challenge of trying to get them his own way. He wasn't the womanizer type, though, so don't get the wrong idea about it. He simply liked to see if this or that girl was the truest person to be with him. But even so, at his age, many people might even say he was too young to know what "love" was. Heck, the rumors about eloping teens at more or less his age were extremely popular in the newspaper or on TV these days. But, returning to the matter at hand, Hero looked at both of them in general. "So, with that in mind, and if you girls don't mind, would I be allowed to accompany you to wherever you may be going? No hidden plans here, nor here, see?" he asked, while showing the inside of the sleeves of his school jacket and shirt , which was only filled with his arm and nothing more, further showing his innocent intentions of being in the company of two girls.
