HISTORY:
Hero has always been a good person. Had a good childhood and good grades. One day, his family adopts a young man, a few years older than him. This man was Naoya, a brilliant child, who was already called a "tech genius" by the time he was adopted. He modestly lived with Hero and his family and got to know them better, to the point of being rather close with Hero. Of course, he still didn't stop being a bit annoying with the plans he was always scheming and his weird and scary stories about demons and how they would rule the world, before they would be completely destroyed by an almighty God of legend. In middle-school, he met a girl, named Yuzu, who he quickly befriended despite her sometimes boyish behavior, and a boy, named Atsuro, a tech lover who Hero helped protecting many times. They had their very own child adventures, until Hero was forced to transfer to another place, due to his family's wanting him to be a better student. He is now enrolled in Gekkoukan High School in the second year and has to start living on his own, on a dorm full of people unknown to him, which is, to say the least, the most difficult experience he has ever gone through.
SPEECH:
Hero loosened the collar of his shirt. It was tighter than he imagined. He readjusted the messenger bag, where he had everything needed for school, to his shoulder and put his hands on his pockets. He looked above to see the sun rise over Genkkoukan High School, where he would be attending classes from now on. He had moved to the nearby dorm just recently, since his parents couldn't move away from their original place, so could only visit him sometimes. Please let this year be safe... he thought, starting to enter through the front gates of the school, where a lot of students, some older, some younger and some of his own age were entering as well. He looked around and saw a few people gather around a billboard. He went that way, just to see what was the commotion about. He approached the board and saw the class list and their respective students. He recognized his name and nodded, then going to ask directions to a professor who was nearby. "Oh, that class is up these stairs and then to the end of the hallway." he explained, using hand signs to do it. Hero thanked and went the way he said.
When he entered the classroom, some people were already there. They all looked straight at him, when the door accidentally slammed behind him. Ouch... These doors are sensitive... he stated, making a mental note not to forget it. As soon as he started moving again, they all went back to talking to each other about whatever they talked about. He sat in the third seat of the second column of chairs counting from the window, since it had always been his favorite seat ever since grade school. It wasn't too far from the board or the teacher, but it wasn't too close either. And it also had a good view of the outside, since he was close enough to the window. He waited there a bit. After a while, he heard a ring and everyone went to their seats. A female teacher came in and everyone stood up, Hero included. "Good morning!" they all said very politely and sat down again. The teacher put down her books and looked at everyone. "Okay! Today, I don't know if you guys noticed, but we have a new student coming to this class. Hero Matsu, come on to the stage!" she yelled. Hero gave a quick analysis of the young woman, probably in her 20s. She had the appearance of a normal teacher but something about her gave a more "rock'n'roll"-ish attitude. He walked up to the side of the teacher, while she wrote his name on the board. She strongly patted Hero's back, something which he didn't expect. "Introduce yourself to the class." she explained. He nodded. "Hi, I'm Hero Matsu. I'm 17 and I just moved into the dorms. I may not be a hero yet but I'll get there. Hope we have a great year together." he said. He could see in the eyes of some people what they must have been thinking. They had an overall good reaction to him. He didn't know he was with the girls yet, though, but he could see some guys already grinning a bit, in the way that they must have been thinking this was a new challenge. He bowed politely and went over to his seat again.
